Windy City Woodie

No, this isn't our new Chicagoist sex column. .. Let's be serious. No giggling.

Windy City Woodie is the name of Chicago's groundhog, our very own Punxatawny Phil. It is unclear whether he saw his shadow today - no one is reporting it! Since it was really overcast early this morning Chicagoist is going to say he DID NOT see his shadow (you heard it here!). We're overriding the Punx man who saw his shadow and predicted more winter, and we're going to start celebrating spring. Did you see the forecast for the next week? Upper 40s? It's spring already.

Ok, back to Woodie. We can't hold it in any longer... Windy City Woodie!??!? WHO named this groundhog? Let the jokes begin!
