MJ to Present Pippen At Hall of Fame

On Friday night, former Bulls greats Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen will team up one more time. Pippen announced on Monday that when he's enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame this Friday night as part of the Class of 2010, it'll be former teammate MJ who presents him to the Hall.

While Pippen played most of his career in Jordan's shadow, his defensive prowess and all-around skills allowed him to establish his own greatness -- enough so that he, like MJ last year, was elected into the Hall in his first year of eligibility. Pippen was a seven-time All-Star and ten-time All Defensive Team player during his career while teaming up with Jordan to win six NBA titles with the Bulls.

But is MJ really the best option to give his presentation speech? Jordan caused quite the stir last year with his bizarre, petty speech upon being inducted into the Hall of Fame. We can only hope Pip gives Jordan a pre-scripted speech to read and that he sticks to it. While Jordan get a speaking role, other former Bulls teammates including John Paxson, B.J. Armstrong, Bill Wennington and Toni Kukoc are also expected to be in Springfield, Massachusetts for the festivities.
